ACTING/CLOWNING

Gary has been acting since his introduction to theatre at age twenty in a regional production of Godspell. He quickly made a name for himself in the Savannah, Georgia area as not only a strong character actor (Charlemagne in Pippin, Ebenezer Scrooge, Jacob and Pharaoh in Joseph, etc...) but he could also hold his own in more "leading man" roles such as El Gallo in The Fantasticks. Theatre opened up the world of clowning which led to the coveted role of Ronald McDonald and many magic shows, parades, "Small Fry Concerts" and other personal appearances.

His signature clown, Pikalow, was "born" during this time and has performed throughout the U.S. for family audiences encouraging others to view the world through the eyes of a child and to see the beauty and humor around us.

"The Old Man and The Tree" is a one man musical he has been performing for over 30 years as a simple Christmas story that shows the true heart and meaning of Christmas; selfless giving. A true delight to see!
